Cal State San Marcos Athletics

Among the first founders of CSUSM in 1991, Bob and Ruth Mangrum have been crucial in the development of not just the Athletics Department, but of the University as a whole.  Their generosity has changed the lives of countless students and been a cornerstone in building the intercollegiate athletics program.  It is no coincidence that the stadium is called the Mangrum Track & Soccer Field, the Athletics Department offices are in the Mangrum Athletic Suite, and the most prestigious Cougar student-athlete award is named the Mangrum Award for Academic Excellence.
