Hall of Fame


Purpose
The purpose of the CSUSM Athletics Hall of Fame is to provide recognition for outstanding alumni who excelled in athletics while at Cal State San Marcos and later proved to be successful in their life's work.  In addition, the Hall of Fame shall cite those distinguished supporters of CSUSM Athletics as well as members of the administrative and support staffs within Athletics who materially and significantly contributed to the total development of successful student-athletes.
 
Membership Criteria
 
1)    CSUSM student-athletes who distinguished themselves during their intercollegiate career.
2)    CSUSM student-athletes who have graduated and earned a degree.
3)    CSUSM student-athletes who distinguished themselves following their intercollegiate career.
4)    CSUSM personnel and supporters who may not have excelled in athletics, but have distinguished themselves in the field of athletics, or have been vital to the success of CSUSM Athletics.

Eligibility will occur two years after the student-athlete has completed his or her career and requires a majority vote from the Hall of Fame Committee.

CSUSM fans are encouraged to make nominations to the Department of Athletics to be reviewed by the committee.  Nominations can be made by going to www.csusmcougars.com and clicking on the Hall of Fame link on the left side.

Inductees into the Hall of Fame will be recognized at the CSUSM Department of Athletics Student-Athlete Awards and Hall of Fame Celebration each April.
