Wales won the CCAA Championship by two strokes (2-over 218) and led the Cougars to their fourth consecutive CCAA Championship team title. Wales was the only golfer to post par or lower in two of the three rounds of the CCAA Championships. She was CSUSM's third CCAA Championships individual medalist. Wales was later named an All-CCAA first-team selection and will be competing at the NCAA West Regional in Dallas, Texas, beginning on Monday, May 8.
