Buckner became the CSUSM career leader in games started at Cal State LA after starting in all 90 career games she has played in. The redshirt senior was second on the team with 11.2 points per game, 6.2 rebounds per game and a 48.7 field-goal percentage in December. Buckner tallied a season-high 19 points in the Cougars' 78-59 victory over San Francisco State after going 7-of-11 (63.6%) from the field. In CSUSM's 70-59 win at Stanislaus State, she pulled down a career-high 11 rebounds.
