Ethan Alvano led the men's basketball team to a 4-2 record in February, averaging 20.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 2.5 steals per game. He shot 55.7 percent (44-79) from the floor, 53.6 percent (15-28) from behind the arc and 84.6 percent (22-26) during the month. The Corona native compiled 15 points and 14 assists in a 94-76 win at Stainslaus State on Feb. 9. Alvano had 21 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer, five rebounds and seven assists in a 59-58 win at Chico State on Feb. 11. He amassed 31 points on 65.7 percent (11-17) shooting at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Feb. 23.
