AS A SENIOR IN 2015: The Cougars’ closer collected 10 saves, three more than previous CSUSM record holder Andrew Larsen had in 2012 … Graduates with the most saves in program history with 19 … Was 2-2 with a 1.59 ERA  … In 29 appearances covering 34 innings, the right-hander registered 39 strikeouts and issued eight walks while limiting the opponents to a .165 batting average … Tossed 15.1 consecutive shutout baseball (Feb. 4-March 25) … Struck out the side against Grace (Feb. 21) to earn his third save of the season … His first loss was due to four unearned runs scored in the ninth against San Diego Christian (Jan. 27). 

2014 SUMMER BALL: Played for the Hannibal Caveman (Mo.) alongside CSUSM teammate Brandon Bentson and Clinton Perez in the Prospect League … Voted team Pitcher of the Year … Selected to the West All-Star team. 

AS A JUNIOR IN 2014: Pitched in 24 games with two starts … Went 3-3 with four saves, a 3.93 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 34.1 innings … His four saves are tied for the third-most in a season in school history … Walked only seven batters in 34.1 innings for a 1.83 walks per nine innings pitched percentage, fifth lowest in CSUSM history … Pitched two innings and struck out four batters against Antelope Valley (March 8) and The Master’s College (April 16) … Had six appearances of at least one inning in which he allowed no hits and issued no walks … Completed 18 games, most in CSUSM history.

AS A SOPHOMORE IN 2013: Made the switch to pitcher during his second season in Cougar blue ... Struck out four in each of his two appearances ... In 26 innings pitched, tallied five saves, a 1.38 ERA and 23 strikeouts while allowing just four earned runs and 12 hits ... Secured a three-inning save in the A.I.I. title game victory over LSU Alexandria (May 3) ... Five saves are second-most in single season school history.

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2012: Started three of his 14 appearances at catcher ... Registered the first hit of his career on Feb. 11 against San Diego Christian.

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2011 graduate of Palos Verdes Peninsula High School in Palos Verdes, Calif. ... Named All-Bay League second team and South Bay All-Star ... Played travel ball with the House of Hardball Hitmen.
