Ran a PR of 26.76 in the 200-meter dash at the Triton Invitational (April 7-8).
Had a personal-best time of 12.71 in the 100-meter dash at the Chris Rinne Twilight (April 21).

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2020

Recorded the second-best indoor long jump mark in program history at 5.51 meters at the GVSU Big Meet (Feb. 15).
Outdoor long jump mark of 5.27 meters at the RCC Invitational (March 6) tied for the fourth-longest distance in school history.
Outdoor triple jump mark of 11.09 meters at the RCC Invitational was the sixth-best mark in program history.
Season shortened due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

HIGH SCHOOL

2019 graduate of Blue Valley High School in Overland Park, Kansas.
Was the 2016 and 2018 Team MVP for Fort Osage High School.
Broke school records in the triple jump (37' 5.25"/11.41m), the long jump (19' 6"/5.94m), the 300-meter hurdles (46.6) and the 4x100-meter relay in 2019.
Earned All-State honors as a long jumper and a runner in the 4x100.
Helped Blue Valley win the 2019 regional championship.
Helped Fort Osage win the conference championship in 2016, 2017 and 2018.
Also played basketball.
Was a member of the National Honor Scholar Society in 2019 and the National Honor Society from 2016-19.

Born in Shawnee, Kansas.
Hometown is Overland Park, Kansas.
Daughter of Antwinette and Brian Byers and Damon Preyor.
Has one older brother, Antonieo, who plays semi-pro football.
Plans to join the U.S. Armed Forces after graduation.
Enjoys playing basketball and is interested in the military.
Favorite films are Daddy Daycare and Taken.
Favorite athletes are Dwayne Wade, Candace Parker and Caterine Ibargüen.
Favorite foods are sushi and fruit.
Her greatest influences are her neices, A'ziah and Camila, her aunts, Theresa and Stephine, her uncles, John and Ced, her cousins, Jasmine, Trena and John, and her parents.
Roots for the Seattle Seahawks.
Listens to music and drinks apple juice before her meets.
Her most memorable moment is breaking three school records in one meet.
Her dream vacation is in Bora Bora.
Likes to give back to the community by working with children, helping the elderly and working in hospitals.
