HOW IT HAPPENED

• SF State took an early 2-0 lead with a two-run homer by Michael Cunningham in the bottom of the first.
• A sacrifice fly by Nicholas Allred put the Gators up 3-0 in the bottom of the third.
• Kyle Olimpia scored from third on a wild pitch in the bottom of the fourth to put SF State up 4-0.
• Garrett Teunissen hit his second three-run homer in as many days in the top of the fifth to cut CSUSM's deficit to 4-3.
• The Gators responded in the bottom of the inning with an RBI single by Wood, a two-run triple by Schrader and an RBI single by Olimpia to make it 8-3.
• SF State made it a 10-3 game in the bottom of the sixth after Murillo scored on a passed ball and an RBI single by Allred.
• The Gators kept the scoring going in the bottom of the seventh with an RBI single by Murillo and a two-run single by Justin Johnson to give SF State a 13-3 lead.
• A one-out two-run blast by Trey Becker trimmed the Cougars' deficit to 13-5 in the top of the eighth.

• A solo shot by Nicholas Allred gave SF State a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the third.
• The Cougars finally on the board in the top of the fifth with an RBI single by Garrett Teunissen to cut the deficit in half to 2-1.
