SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team placed third at the CCAA Championships for the second consecutive season as it concluded the meet on Saturday at Mangrum Track & Field.

TOP PERFORMANCES
- Lilly McGraw took silver in the pole vault with a height of 3.57 meters.
- Luz Mercado silvered in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:34.79.
- Earning silver in the 4x400-meter relay, the team of Mia Salinas, Ana Mercado, Luz Mercado and Rasha Badrani finished in 3:50.18.
- The 4x100-meter relay team of Kailey Frye, Isabel Ortiz, Ashton Stamatopoulos and Rasha Badrani took bronze as they tied for the sixth-fastest time in program history at 46.94. It was CSUSM's fastest time in 10 years.
- Ana Mercado was awarded bronze in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.05. Hazel Hardman-Groff took fourth at 2:16.13 while Luz Mercado was eighth at 2:34.45.
- Rasha Badrani and Mia Salinas took silver and bronze in the 400-meter hurdles with the times of 1:00.40 and 1:00.51, respectively. Their times rank second and third in program history, and both times were NCAA provisionals.
- Morgann Wilson was the Cougars' top finisher in the javelin throw as she finished sixth with a mark of 36.58 meters. Rachelle Zilavec had the fifth-best throw in program history and finished seventh at 35.85 meters. Teigen O'Donnell wrapped up the scoring for CSUSM with an eighth-place finish at 35.67 meters.
- Ashton Stamatopoulos finished sixth in the 400-meter dash at 58.93.
- For the second consecutive day, Isabel Ortiz had the program's third-fastest 100-meter meter time as she finished eighth at 12.15.
- Teigen O'Donnell also placed eighth in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.14 and earned CSUSM a point.
- Charlotte Allison gave CSUSM three points in the high jump with a sixth-place finish of 1.56 meters.
- Kailey Frye earned CSUSM two points in the triple jump with a seventh-place mark of 10.73 meters.

POST-MEET NOTES
- CSUSM took home a total of 15 CCAA medals – its most in program history by a wide margin. Its previous best of five occurred last season.
- The Cougars' 106.75 points were their most ever in the CCAA Championships. CSUSM scored 85 last season.
- CSUSM currently has four NCAA provisionals heading into next week's meet.
