COURSE REPORT: The No. 9/8 Cal State San Marcos women's golf team saw its season come to an end after narrowly missing out on making the cut at the NCAA Division II National Championship, finishing in ninth place with a 34-over 898.

FIRST TEE

• Caroline Wales was CSUSM's top golfer, finishing tied for 14th place with a 4-over 220 (74-73-73).
• Madison Murr and Makenna Cabardo both tied for 42nd place with a 12-over 228.
• Breann Horn and Regan Barton finished with a 15-over 231 and a share of 56th place.

• Nova Southeastern's Olivia Gronborg was crowned the NCAA Division II National Champion after posting a three-round total of 6-under 210 (68-69-73).
• The Cougars missed the cut by three strokes as fellow CCAA member Cal State East Bay took the eighth and final spot in the medal-match play championship to determine the team national champion.
