SAN MARCOS, Calif. –  Avery Foster and Abby Sickles of the Cal State San Marcos women's golf team were named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large Team.
 
The 2026 Academic All-District At-Large Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
To be considered for the honor, a student-athlete must have at least a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 at his/her current institution. For golf, student-athletes must compete in 75 percent of the institution's team scoring or in the lineup at the conference championship tournament. 
 
Academic All-District honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced on July 7.
