CSUSM Closes Out Regular Season at APU Last Chance

AZUSA, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team closed out its 2023 regular season at the APU Last Chance on Friday and Saturday.

TOP PERFORMANCES

Isabel Ortiz matched her PR in the 100-meter dash prelim on Friday with a time of 12.15. On Saturday, Ortiz ran a 200-meter time of 25.80.
Luz Mercado ran an 800-meter time of 2:11.33 on Friday. Mia Salinas ran the sixth-fastest time in program history at 2:12.44.
Rasha Badrani and Salinas finished sixth and eighth in the 400-meter hurdles on Saturday with times of 1:01.52 and 1:01.92, respectively.
Emma Mills ran the 1500-meter run in 4:51.62 on Saturday.

UP NEXT
CSUSM will wait and see if anyone qualifies for the 2023 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships taking place on May 25-27 in Pueblo, Colorado.
