SAN DIEGO – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team saw an NCAA Division II provisional and five top-10 program times at UC San Diego's Triton Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

TOP PERFORMANCES
- Luz Mercado won the 800-meter run as she posted the fifth-best time in program history and an NCAA Division II provisional at 2:11.95. Sister Ana Mercado finished second at 2:12.96.
- Mia Salinas recorded the fourth-best 400-meter hurdles time in team history at 1:03.40.
- Charlotte Allison tallied the fourth-best high jump mark in program history at 1.57 meters. She also finished eighth out of 34 long jumpers with a wind-aided distance of 5.43 meters.
- Rasha Badrani recorded the fifth-best 400-meter time in team history at 57.13, bettering her own PR by .14.
- Kailey Frye improved her PR in the triple jump with the 10th-longest distance in program history at 10.80 meters.
- Devin Yarbrough was just .07 off her own PR in the 100-meter dash at 12.39.
- Emma Mills finished fifth out of 77 entrants in the 1500-meter run at 4:46.39.
- Morgann Wilson took 10th out of 39 in the 100-meter hurdles at 15.03.
- Isabel Ortiz was the top Cougar in the 200-meter dash at 26.59.
- On Friday, Lilly McGraw completed the pole vault with a height of 3.37 meters.
- Teigen O'Donnell was the top CSUSM thrower in the javelin at 27.19 meters.
- Lauren Allison-Aipa posted a time of 19:49.77 in the 5,000-meter run.
- The team of Kailey Frye, Morgann Wilson, Lauren Meredith and Taylor Cartwright posted a time of 49.38 in the 4x100-meter relay.
- The 4x400-meter relay team of Daisy Gonzalez, Badrani, Salinas and Ashton Stamatopoulos capped off the meet with a time of 3:55.34.
