SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team tallied an NCAA provisional time and saw three top-10 program marks at Azusa Pacific's Bryan Clay Invitational and Long Beach State's Beach Invitational.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

• Luz Mercado improved her week-old PR in the 800-meter run open by over a second with an NCAA provisional time of 2:10.89 and finished ninth out of 144 entrants at the Bryan Clay Invitational. Her time now ranks third in program history.
• Luz Mercado also had a 1500-meter time of 4:40.14 at the Bryan Clay Invitational while her sister Ana Mercado came in at 4:59.14.
• Ana Mercado also had an 800-meter invite time of 2:14.32 at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
• Morgann Wilson posted the third-best heptathlon scored in program history at 4,013 while Lauren Meredith had the team's sixth-best score at 3,534 at the Bryan Clay Invitational.
• Rasha Badrani had the sixth-best 400-meter hurdles time in program history at 1:03.98 at the Beach Invitational, improving her PR by .88.
• Mia Salinas had the Cougars' top 400-meter dash time at 58.29 at the Beach Invitational.
• Isabel Ortiz had a wind-aided 100-meter time of 12.33 at the Beach Invitational.
• Charlotte Allison had a high jump mark of 1.51 meters at the Beach Invitational.
• Ashton Stamatopoulos had a 200-meter time of 25.92 at the Beach Invitational.
