SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Greg Milton III of the Cal State San Marcos men's basketball team was named to the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-West Region second team, the organization announced on Thursday.
 
Milton has been CSUSM's leading scorer this season at 17.6 points per game while making a team-leading 54 3-pointers. The Sacramento native has tallied 4.9 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 47.8% from the field. Milton was recently named an All-CCAA first-team recipient for the first time after taking home second-team honors last season.
 
Milton is the third All-West Region honoree in program history and is the first second-teamer. Last year, Blake Seits was named to the first team, and in 2017-18, Ethan Alvano was named to the first team.
 
Milton and the rest of the sixth-seeded Cougars will face third-seeded Azusa Pacific in the quarterfinals of the NCAA West Regional on Friday at noon in Golden Gymnasium on the campus of Point Loma in San Diego.
