SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos baseball team (6-8) dropped the final game of the series against No. 5 Cal State San Bernardino (13-1) by a score of 7-2 on Sunday afternoon at Fiscalini Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Yotes took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first on a sacrifice fly by Garrett Macias.
- An RBI single by Matt Gonzales put CSUSB up 2-0 in the bottom of the fourth.
- In the bottom of the fifth, Macias hit a two-run homer to left to give the Yotes a 4-0 lead.
- Freeman put CSUSM on the board in the top of the eighth with his second home run in as many days to cut the deficit to 4-1. An RBI double to left center by McGrew scored Emilio Luna to cut the Yotes' lead in half at 4-2.
- CSUSB wrapped up the scoring in the bottom of the eighth with an RBI single by Deshawn Johnson before a two-run homer to right by Daryl Ruiz gave the Yotes a 7-2 lead.

- Yotes starter Austyn Coleman (4-0) earned the win after striking out four and allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits, a walk and a hit-by-pitch.
