SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team tallied seven new top-10 program marks in addition to two CCAA-best times in the team's first home meet since 2020 at the Mangrum Invitational on Friday at Mangrum Track & Field.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

• Charlotte Allison tied for the fourth-best high jump mark in program history at 1.55 meters. It was the program's best high jump mark since 2017.
• Rasha Badrani bettered her personal best in the 400-meter hurdles with the fifth-fastest time in program history at 1:04.86.
• Lilly McGraw tied for first in the pole vault with the third-best mark in team history at 3.44 meters. Lauren Meredith had the program's sixth-best mark at 3.29 meters.
• Kailey Frye had the 10th-best triple jump mark in program history with a winning distance of 10.69 meters.
• Frye and Allison tied for the 10th-best long jump mark in program history at 5.19 meters.
• Ana Mercado finished second out of 31 in the 800-meter run with a CCAA-best time of 2:13.71.
• Luz Mercado won the 1500-meter run with a CCAA-best time of 4:34.48 – just .19 off her personal best.
• Morgann Wilson was the top CSUSM finisher in the 100-meter hurdles with a wind-aided time of 14.69.
• In the 400-meter dash, Ashton Stamatopoulos finished fourth out of 30 entrants with a time of 58.16 while teammate Mia Salinas finished right behind her in fifth at 58.29.
• Jalyn Guglielmana posted a time of 13.27 in the 100-meter dash.
• Taylor Cartwright was the top Cougar in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.34.
• Hazel Hardman-Groff finished the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a time of 13.12.74.
• Grace Handler was CSUSM's top finisher in the 5,000-meter run at 19:16.89.
• Teigen O'Donnell had a distance of 32.45 meters in the javelin.
• Maria Texis wrapped up the meet with a 10,000-meter time of 38:31.80

 
MEET HIGHLIGHTS

• The meet ended with 10 NCAA Division II provisionals.
• Six facility records were set.

Cal State San Marcos will compete in two meets on Saturday as most of the Cougars will be at the PLNU Collegiate Invitational while a select few will be competing at San Diego State's Aztec Invitational.
