SAN DIEGO – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team saw three new top-10 program mark while putting up several other top performances at Point Loma's Ross & Sharon Irwin Invitational on Saturday at PLNU Track & Field.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

• Lilly McGraw had the fifth-best pole vault mark in program history at 3.29 meters. Kailey Frye improved upon her personal best with the team's ninth-best mark at 3.14 meters.
• Rachelle Zilavec had the 10th-best javelin throw in program history at 32.71 meters. She later put up a discus mark of 22.90 meters.
• In her first event since March 7, 2020, Dymon Preyor finished seventh out of 34 in the long jump with a mark of 5.18 meters.
• Mia Salinas finished second out of 47 in the 800-meter run and was the top Division II runner at 2:16.61. Her time was the fastest in the CCAA this season.
• Teigen O'Donnell was the top Cougar in the 100-meter hurdles at 15.23 and finished 13th out of 34 entrants.
• Taylor Cartwright was just .01 off her personal-best height in the high jump at 1.50 meters. She later finished the 400-meter dash in 1:04.45 as CSUSM's lone entrant.
• Ashton Stamatopoulos finished 12th out of 66 in the 100-meter dash with a wind-aided 12.49. She was later CSUSM's top runner in the 200-meter dash at 25.56 – the fastest by a Cougar this season.
• The team of Kailey Frye, Summer Woolard, Lauren Meredith and Taylor Cartwright finished the 4x100-meter relay in 49.78.
• Emily Mendoza was CSUSM's lone entrant in the 1500-meter run and finished in 5:09.54.
• The 4x400-meter relay team of Daisy Gonzalez, Salinas, Rasha Badrani and Stamatopoulos ended the meet with a time of 3:57.16

CSUSM will compete in a trio of meets next week with the Aztec Invitational (March 23-25), the Mangrum Invitational (March 24) and PLNU Track & Field Invitational (March 25).
