STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team saw one NCAA Division II provisional time and several top-10 program marks in indoor action at the Fastrack Last Chance Invitational on Friday at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

• Ana Mercado earned an NCAA provisional with a time of 2:13.28 in the 800-meter run while finishing third. Her provisional was CSUSM's fourth of the indoor season.
• Luz Mercado won the mile run with a time of 5:07.25.
• In the prelims of the 60-meter hurdles, Morgann Wilson ran the fourth-fastest time in program history at 9.04 and bettered her mark in the finals with a fifth-place finish of 8.92.
• On her fourth attempt in the long jump, Charlotte Allison tied for the fourth-best distance in team history at 5.42 meters. Allison also took third in the high jump at 1.57 meters.
• The 4x400-meter relay team of Ashton Stamatopoulos, Rasha Badrani, Mia Salinas and Daisy Gonzalez recorded the third-fastest time in team history at 3:56.84.
• Devin Yarbrough had the eighth-fastest time in the 60-meter dash invitational at 7.95.

 
UP NEXT
CSUSM will cap off the regular season of indoor action on Sunday at the BU Last Chance Meet in Boston, Massachusetts. Events will get underway at 8 a.m. (PST).
