COURSE REPORT: The (RV) Cal State San Marcos women's cross country team took 22nd place with a score of 536 at the UC Riverside Invitational on Saturday afternoon. With only two members of the men's team competing, there was no team score.
 
FINISH LINE

• Emily Mendoza was the first CSUSM runner to cross the finish line, taking 60th place with a time of 19:12.1. 
• Competing in her first collegiate race, Kayla Wrathall took 74th place in a time of 19:22.7. 
• Lauren Allison-Aipa, the lone upperclassman racing, placed 149th (20:32.1) while Ana Moreno finished in 202nd place (21:46.3). 
• Mia Salinas and Rasha Badrani went over the finish line close together for 222nd (22:28.8) and 224th (22:31.8) places, respectively. 
• On the men's side, Byaombe Mloko was CSUSM's top runner with a time of 26:34.5 for 71st place. 
• Cris Carrillo placed 80th after recording a time of 26:38.1
