RIVERSIDE, Calif. – A new school record highlighted the Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team's day at UC Riverside's Chris Rinne Twilight on Friday.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

• On her second attempt in the shot put, Bianca Encio broke her own school record with a throw of 12.26 meters. Her toss was .03 better than her previous record of 12.23 meters set at the RCC Invitational on March 4.
• Devin Yarbrough placed third out of 16 in the long jump with a distance of 5.42 meters and had the top collegiate mark in the event.
• Isabel Ortiz recorded new PRs in the 100-, 200- and 400-meter with times of 12.90, 26.37 and 1:01.21, respectively.
• Sarah Davis posted a new PR in the 400-meter run with a time of 1:01.81.

CSUSM will return to competition next Friday as it travels to UC Irvine for the two-day Steve Scott Invitational.
