RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men's track & field team saw a top-10 program mark posted at UC Riverside's Chris Rinne Twilight on Friday.
 
TOP PERFORMANCES

• Trevor Nakata finished fifth with a mark of 48.73 meters in the hammer throw and had the top mark among Division II competition. Teammate Nick Tangonan set a new PR for the event with the eighth-best toss in program history at 42.30 meters and beat out his old mark by 2.95 meters.
• Caleb Reny posted new PRs in the 200- and 400-meter with times of 23.59 and 52.67, respectively.
• In his first collegiate 200-meter race, Chris Lee finished 15th out of 27 with a time of 23.12.
• As the lone Division II entrant in the shot put, Kalathan Laiwa-McKay finished with a distance of 13.57 meters on his second toss.
