KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After a standout season, redshirt junior
Blake Seits of the Cal State San Marcos men's basketball team will be playing in the 2022 NABC – Reese's Division II College All-Star Game as he was named to the West roster on Tuesday.
The game will be played Friday, March 25 at 6 p.m. (CT) at Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana, and live stats will be available
here.
The Division II All-Star Game, held in conjunction with the 2022 NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Elite Eight, features the top senior talent across Division II.
This is just one of many accomplishments by Seits this postseason as he's already took home All-CCAA first-team honors, the CCAA Tournament MVP award, D2CCAA All-West Region first-team honors and NABC All-District first-team honors.
Seits helped guide CSUSM to its first-ever CCAA Tournament Championship and first appearance in the NCAA West Regional with a team-best 16.8 points per game, 4.8 rebounds and a 40.6 3-point field-goal percentage while shooting 46.7% from the field.
Seits is the first Cougar to ever be named to the Division II College All-Star Game. He'll be joined by fellow CCAA counterpart Daytone Jennings from Cal State San Bernardino as the lone student-athletes from the West Region (CCAA, GNAC, PacWest).
