SAN DIEGO – The Cal State San Marcos women's track & field team saw one top-10 program mark at Point Loma's Ross & Sharon Irwin Invitational on Saturday.

TOP PERFORMANCES
- Amaya Mahmoud posted the 10th-best long jump mark in school history with a distance of 5.19 meters while finishing sixth out of 26 other jumpers.
- Mahmoud matched her PR in the triple jump with a mark of 11.46 meters while finishing the event in fourth.
- Out of 37 runners in the 5,000-meter run, Renee Laurenzana won with a time of 17:21.97. Emma Mills was the Cougars' second-best finisher as she came in sixth with a time of 18:08.22.
- Bianca Encio finished sixth out of 25 entrants in the shot put as she put up a mark of 12.05 meters.
- In the 400-meter dash, Mia Salinas finished eighth out of 33 with a time of 59.866 to set a new PR.
- Teigen O'Donnell took eighth out of 29 in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 14.98 – .08 behind her PR.

CSUSM will compete in three different meets next week as they head to San Diego State's Aztec Invitational (March 24-26), UCLA's Bob Larsen Distance Carnival (March 25) and the Point Loma Collegiate Invitational (March 26).
