SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Despite splitting a pair of games last week, the Cal State San Marcos men's basketball team (14-2, 10-2 CCAA) stayed in the top 10 once again as the Cougars came in at No. 9 in the NABC Top 25 Coaches Poll while moving to No. 10 in the D2SIDA Top 25 Media Poll on Tuesday afternoon.
CSUSM earned a 75-68 victory over San Francisco State last Thursday at The Sports Center behind
Greg Milton III's game-leading 21 points. In Saturday's game against Cal State Monterey Bay, the Cougars nearly completed a late second-half comeback but ultimately fell 71-69.
The Cougars remained No. 2 in this week's D2SIDA West Region Poll and currently sit second in the CCAA standings behind Cal State San Bernardino.
The Cougars are back on the road this week with games at Cal State East Bay on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Saturday at 3 p.m.
