Greg Milton III of men's basketball have been named the Cal State San Marcos Student-Athletes of the Month for November 2022.

The CSUSM Student-Athletes of the Month awards are determined through a vote of all Department of Athletics coaches, administrators and staff. Each in-season program nominates a student-athlete to be considered for the award each month.

Forrester led the team with 14.0 points per game and 11 3-pointers while averaging 2.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.5 steals in a team-high 31.0 minutes per game. The guard from Davis averaged 2.75 3-pointers per game, ranking fourth in the CCAA and 43rd in the nation. Forrester began the season by going 6-of-11 (54.5%) from the field and 3-of-7 (42.9%) from behind the arc in the Cougars' 77-51 win over Point Loma. She then went on to post the second-most points of her career with 22 against then-No. 2/1 Western Washington. For her performance, she was named to the 2022 West Region Crossover All-Tournament Team.

Milton led CSUSM with 22.2 points per game, 43 made field goals and nine 3-pointers while averaging 4.2 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.0 assist in a team-high 35.8 minutes per game. The guard from Sacramento shot 53.1% from the field and was 39.1% from beyond the arc while leading the Cougars in scoring for all five games. Milton's 39-point performance in the season opener at Saint Martin's was the second best for a single game in program history while his 16 made field goals broke the school record. His points and minutes per game averages currently lead the CCAA.

This is the third CSUSM Student-Athlete of the Month honor for Milton and the first for Forrester.

Forrester and Milton will return to action on Thursday at Stanislaus State before heading to Chico State on Saturday.
