SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Cal State San Marcos Athletics will be celebrating Homecoming at home this year with a pair of virtual events next week. These events will geared towards current student, faculty and staff, as well as, Cougar fans everywhere.

On Monday, Oct. 19, the Cougars will be hosting Ball Out with Athletics
live on Zoom at 8 p.m. Current student, faculty and staff will be able to attend a virtual meet and greet with CSUSM student-athletes representing all 13 programs. Plus, they will be able to compete in a CSUSM-styled trivia contest for a chance to win some Cougar gear! There will be prizes awarded to first, second and third place winners.Â

On Saturday, Oct. 24, all Cougar fans can relive previous Homecoming games for both the men's and women's basketball programs by attending Game Day – Homecoming Blast From the Past live on Zoom. This special presentation will be hosted by CSUSM Alumni Jomi Adeniran and will include guest commentary from CSUSM head coaches
B.J. Foster and
Renee Jimenez in addition to current and former men's and women's basketball student-athletes. The 2019 women's game against San Francisco State will get underway at noon and will be followed by the 2015 men's game against Sonoma State at 2 p.m. Fans wanting to join the broadcast of both games are asked to
register for the sessions prior to attending.
