SAN FRANCISCO – The RV/RV Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team topped San Francisco State, 81-52, on the road on Saturday afternoon in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) action for its 15th victory of the season.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- After relinquishing the first two points of the game, the Cougars went on a 19-0 run.
- CSUSM finished the first quarter on a 28-2 run.
- In the opening quarter, the Cougars tallied their highest point total of the season (28) while keeping their opponents to a season-low four points.
- The Cougars concluded the first half with 48 points, one shy of their season best while holding the Gators to 20 points at the break.
- CSUSM shot 58.1% from the field while holding the Gators to 29.6% in the first half.
- The Cougars made seven of their 10 3-point shots for a 70.0% in the first 20 minutes.
- CSUSM took its largest lead of the game at 65-28 on Forrester's 3-pointer with 3:37 remaining in the third quarter.
- Natalie Nicolosi sunk her first collegiate 3-pointer on a pass by Kayden Korst to raise CSUSM's lead to 79-51 with 1:09 remaining in the game.

- The Cougars improve to 15-4 (10-4 CCAA) while the Gators fall to 1-16 (1-13 CCAA).
- With her three assists against SF State, Custodio tied the CSUSM career record in assists with Alex Alvarado (2011-15), tallying 217 in her three years in Cougar Blue.
- CSUSM tallied a season-best 10 3-pointers, the third highest in program history.
- CSUSM picked up its third season sweep after registering a 55-43 victory on Nov. 23 against SF State in The Sports Center.
