HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Seawolves put up five runs in the opening frame highlighted by Martinez's two-run homer to right center.
- Wood crushed her team-leading third home run of the season, a solo jack over the left center wall to make it 5-1 in the bottom of the second.
- Forstie went long in the third for a two-run homer to right center to cut CSUSM's deficit to 5-3.
- SSU's Jordann White hit a solo home run in the top of the fifth to raise the Seawolves' lead to 6-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Martinez hit an RBI bunt single in the top of the first to get SSU on the board at 1-0.
- Martinez hit her second two-run home run of the day in the top of the third to put SSU up 3-0.
- SSU pushed two unearned runs across in the top of the fourth on a wild pitch and a CSUSM error.
- Forstie knocked out an RBI single in the fourth, plating Andelin after she led off the inning with an infield single to make it 5-1.
- A bases-loaded walk and Andelin's RBI single closed the gap for CSUSM to 5-3 in the bottom of the fifth.
- Martinez struck again in the top of the six with a three-run home run to extend SSU's lead to 8-3.
- SSU's final run came from Cassidy Romano's solo homer in the sixth inning.Â
