CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Cal State San Marcos senior shortstop Jillian Albayati and senior center fielder Czar Fleischman were named to the 2026 NCAA Division II Softball Championship All-Tournament Team, the NCAA announced Wednesday.

Fleischman led the Cougars with a .400 batting average, going 6-for-15 with two doubles, a home run, five RBIs and five runs. The Berkeley native drove in three runs including a solo home run in the 7-1 victory over North Georgia on May 30.

Albayati, the Division II batting average leader, hit .333 with three home runs, a double, five RBIs and five runs scored. Two of Albayti's home runs came against eventual-champion Saint Leo on May 29.  She posted a 1.167 slugging percentage and a .438 on-base percentage after being walked three times.

Albayati and Fleischman, who were freshmen for CSUSM's first NCAA Division II Softball National Championship appearance in 2023, led the Cougars to a 2-2 record at this season's championship. CSUSM was the final team eliminated before the national championship series finale that featured the two teams the Cougars lost to, Champion Saint Leo and Runner-Up McKendree.

Albayati and Fleischman join Makenzie Guiliano as the only Cougars to be named to the NCAA Division II Softball Championship All-Tournament team.
