SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team collected its first-ever California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) Tournament win on Tuesday with a 75-69 victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills at The Sports Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars took a 42-34 lead into the break after shooting 50.0 percent (16-of-32) from the field.
- At the 4:16 mark in the third quarter, Hackson was fouled on a 3-pointer and sunk all three free throws to put CSUSM up by 10 points (52-42).
- The Toros opened the fourth quarter on a 6-2 run to cut CSUSM's lead to 59-53 at the 7:56 mark.
- CSUDH cut the lead to four at 71-67 with 38 seconds remaining on a layup by Nautica Morrow.
- Custodio concluded the game with four consecutive free throws to secure the win.

- With the win, the Cougars (18-9) extend their winning streak to seven games.
- CSUDH ends its season with a 14-15 record.
