SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos softball team dropped its California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) twin bill against Cal State San Bernardino 2-1 and 7-0 on Saturday afternoon at CSUSM Softball field. Prior to today's doubleheader, the Cougars and Coyotes had to wrap up Friday's night cap that was halted due to darkness that resulted in a CSUSB 9-4 victory.

- CSUSB took a quick 3-0 lead on four hits in the top of the second.
- The Cougars got on the board in the third inning on LeClair's RBI double to right center, scoring Ronnie Silas from first.
- CSUSMÂ took a 4-3 lead in the fourth when Andelin hit a three-run homer off the right field foul pole.
- The Cougars lead was short lived as CSUSB's Haley Finn hit her own three-run homer to take a 6-4 lead in the fifth inning.
- The Coyotes notched three insurance runs in the seventh, highlighted by Morgan Parson's two-run home run.
