SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team collected its second win of the weekend, a 76-64 California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) victory against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Saturday afternoon in The Sports Center.

HOW IT HAPPENEDÂ Â Â
- A 13-6 turnover advantage gave the Toros the edge in the opening quarter at 20-18.
- A Hackson 3-pointer with six seconds remaining in the second quarter put CSUSM on top at 41-39.
- The Cougars owned a 65.4 field-goal percentage in the first half.
- CSUSM shot an impressive 9-of-11 from the field in the third quarter to take control of the game. Â
- The Cougars led the entire second half after trailing for most of the opening 20 minutes.
- CSUSM's largest lead of the game was 67-51 on Hackson's layup with 9:06 left in the game.

- With this win, CSUSM(13-9, 10-8 CCAA) is now in sole possession of fourth place in the CCAA standings until the Chico State-Cal Poly Pomona game tonight.

- Forel's team-high 18 points was her ninth time leading CSUSM in scoring this season.
