COURSE REPORT: The Cal State San Marcos men's cross country team was scattered this weekend as they participated in the Lewis Crossover and UCSD Triton Classic. Six Cougars raced in Romeoville, Ill. where they competed in a field of 420 racers, while five stayed close to home and raced against 62 opponents in La Jolla. 
 
FINISH LINE

• Joshua Litwiller led the way in Romeoville completing the 8k course in a time of 25:26.3, landing a seventh place finish.
• Behind Litwiller, Shea Vavra earned a top 20 finish, crossing the finish line 16th with a time of 25:47.9. 
• Phillip Dorado (26:36.1) and Robert Marin (26:37.8) finished the race back-to-back, taking the 78th and 79th slots.  
• Trevor Boaz (33rd, 27:39.90) was the first Cougar to clock in at the Triton Classic. 
• Roger Lopez registered at time of 28:25.78 to take a 47th place finish. 

 
WHAT'S NEXT
 The Cougars will be traveling to Riverside to compete in the UCR Highlander Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 19th.
