ARCATA, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team fell 88-70 in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) action at Humboldt State on Thursday night in Lumberjack Arena.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- CSUSM led 16-15 after the first quarter with Olsen tallying eight points and three rebounds.
- The Cougars trailed 38-35 after a 3-pointer by HSU's Isamar Conde with six seconds remaining in the opening half.
- HSU opened the second half with a 17-5 run to bust open the game.
- The Cougars got within 10 on a jumper by Custodio with 7:07 on the clock in the fourth quarter.
- The Jacks shot 62.1 percent (18-of-29) from the field in the second half while holding the Cougars to just 40.6 percent (13-of-32).
