CHICO, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team dropped a 63-58 decision at Chico State in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) contest on Saturday night at Acker Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars closed out the first half with a 9-0 run to take a 29-24 lead into the break.
- CSUSM took its largest lead of the game at 48-38 into the fourth quarter.
- The Wildcats outscored the Cougars 25-10 in the final 10 minutes, shooting 50 percent (5-of-10) from the field and 75 percent (3-of-4) from behind the arc.
- Chico State went to the free throw line 14 times in the fourth quarter, making 12 while CSUSM went 2-of-2 in the 10 minutes.

- The Cougars drop to 10-7 overall and 7-6Â in conference play as the Wildcats move to 12-5, 9-5 in CCAA action.
- Forel registered her sixth double-double, knocking down 22 points and pulling down 11 rebounds.
