SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team fell 73-66 to visiting Cal State San Bernardino in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) action on Friday night in The Sports Center.
The Cougars drop to 7-14 overall and 7-10 in conference play while the Coyotes move up to 10-12 on the season, 8-10 CCAA.

Juliet Jones collected a season-best 11 rebounds in addition to her six points and four assists. Senior
Raegan Lillie recorded nine points while going 6-of-6 at the charity stripe.
The Cougars trailed 37-29 at the break after CSUSB shot 50.0 percent (15-of-30) from the field while CSUSM registered a 24.2 percentage (8-of-33).
A 14-2 run in the third quarter, capped by a Camp 3-pointer, gave CSUSM its biggest lead of the night at 44-39 with 4:18 on the clock. The Coyotes would answer quickly, closing out the quarter with a 53-49 lead.
CSUSB outscored the Cougars 20-17 in the final quarter to clinch the win.
The Coyotes were led by Sabrea Coleman (19 pts) and Jordan Mottershaw (13 pts).
The Cougars return to the court on Saturday, Feb. 10 when they host Cal Poly Pomona at 5:30 p.m. The first 250 fans in attendance will receive a FREE CSUSM Tukwut Towel.
