HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Cougars were outscored 37-32 in the first half despite putting up the better field-goal percentage at 37.9 (11-of-29) compared to the Toros' 32.3 (10-of-31).
- CSUDH went 11-of-14 from the charity stripe in the first 20 minutes.
- Elliott led all scorers with 10 points in the first half.
- The Toros posted their largest lead of the half at 34-24 with 3:42 left in the period.
- CSUDH outscored CSUSM 49-42 in the final 20 minutes.
- The Toros ended the game shooting 43.9 percent (25-of-57) from the field while the Cougars came in at 36.7 percent (22-of-60).
