HOW IT HAPPENED
- CSUSM jumped out to a 19-15 lead in the opening quarter.
- The Cougars shot 53.8 percent in the second quarter and matched its opening 19 points while holding the Eagles to only 12 points to take a 38-26 lead into the break.
- The Cougars went on a 15-0 run that began in the second quarter and concluded at 6:25 in the third quarter at 48-26.
- CSUSM's largest lead occurred in the fourth quarter at 70-40 with 5:48 remaining.

- The Cougars improve to 2-1 overall while the Eagles (0-3) are still searching for their first win of the season.
