TURLOCK, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team dropped a 67-60 decision at Stanislaus State in a California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) match on Thursday night at Ed & Bertha Fitzpatrick Arena.
The Cougars fall to 11-9 overall and 8-7 in conference play. The Warriors improve to 13-12 and 11-5 in CCAA action.

Savannah Camp joined freshman forward
Chloe Eackles with 10 points on the night. Cruz led the Cougars with nine rebounds and three blocked shots.
The Cougars took a one-point lead after freshman guard
Brianna Porter made her second free throw with just over four minutes remaining in the first half. The Warriors closed out the half with an 8-3 run to take a 35-31 advantage into the break.
The Warriors led by as many as 13 points in the second half, but three unanswered 3-pointers by Eackles put CSUSM within three points with less than a minute remaining. The Warriors sunk four consecutive free throws to secure the 67-60 win.
Stan State's Cassidy Sanders-Curry sunk a match-high 28 points.
CSUSM travels to Chico State on Saturday, Feb. 11 with a tip-off slated for 5:30 p.m. Earlier this season, the
Cougars defeated the Wildcats, 63-61, on CSUSM's home court, The Sports Center.
