ROHNERT PARK, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos volleyball team took down the top team of the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) North Division, Sonoma State, in four sets on Saturday night at The Wolves' Den. Final scores were 19-25, 25-22, 25-20 and 25-18.
With the win, the Cougars improve to 11-9 overall and 8-4 in conference action. It was the Seawolves' (15-5, 9-2 CCAA) first loss since Oct. 11, 2016.

The Cougars dominated in every category including a season-best 11 service aces. CSUSM out-blocked the Seawolves 12-5 in the match.
SSU's Caiti Wiesner tallied 16 kills in the contest.
The Cougars return to The Sports Center on Friday, Oct. 27 to host Cal State East Bay. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
