HAYWARD, Calif. – Sophomore
Colin Dvorak hit a game-winning three-run homer in the ninth inning to give the Cal State San Marcos baseball team a 6-4 come-from-behind California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) victory over Cal State East Bay in the series finale Sunday afternoon.
With the win, CSUSM (21-20, 13-16 CCAA) spoils East Bay's (25-15, 16-13 CCAA) series sweep.
The Cougars scattered five hits in the contest.

Manny Barragan went seven innings, giving up three runs – two earned – on three hits.
CSUSM got on the board first after sophomore
Tyler Place led off the game with a double and later scored on senior
Brandon Bentson's sacrifice fly.
The Pioneers evened it in the bottom of the third on their own sacrifice fly by Raymond Jones.
East Bay took the lead in fifth after Kris Bartlett doubled to lead off the inning and later scored on Michael Frantz's single.
The Pioneers added a run in both the seventh and eighth innings to raise their lead to 4-1.
Bentson's single to left loaded the bases for CSUSM after Place led off with a walk and sophomore
Austin Ott reached on an error. Senior
Clinton Perez hit a RBI single through the left side and junior
Hudson Bilodeau sent a sacrifice fly to deep left field to make it a one run game. On a 1-0 count, Dvorak turned a high inside pitch and sent it into the trees over the left field wall.
The Cougars return home next weekend to host Cal State Monterey Bay in a three-game series.
