OCEANSIDE, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team played its final game at MiraCosta College Saturday night after calling it home for the last five years. Unfortunately for the Cougars, they were not able to go out winners, as they fell to Cal State San Bernardino by a final score of 70-53 in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play.

here. CSUSM falls to 6-17 overall and 4-14 in CCAA action. The Coyotes improve to 13-10, 10-8 in conference play.
Sophomore
Savannah Camp once again led the Cougar offense, recording 15 points. Junior
Ashley Jenkins added 11 points while dishing out three assists. Junior
Jasmine Matar came off the bench to tally nine points and nine rebounds. In her final game playing in front of the home crowd, senior
Brianna Higgins registered nine points and eight rebounds.
CSUSB's Chelsea Austin led all scorers with 18 points with four buckets coming from beyond the arc. Chelsea Barnes chipped in 16 points.
The Cougars conclude their 2015-16 season next week, traveling to Humboldt State and Cal Poly Pomona.
