OCEANSIDE, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos women's basketball team dropped a 65-59 decision to Chico State in California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) play on Thursday night at MiraCosta College.
The Cougars matched a season-low performance from beyond the arc, knocking down only four with all coming in the final quarter.
CSUSM falls to 5-9 on the season and 3-6 in the CCAA. The Wildcats improve to 7-9 overall, 3-8 in conference play.
Junior

The Wildcats led through most of the contest but CSUSM was able to keep the gap in single digits a majority of the time.
Consecutive 3-pointers by Camp and Jenkins cut the Chico State lead to 57-54 with 30 seconds remaining. The Cougars tallied five points thanks to junior
