#CSUSMSoftballCSUSM Named Top SeedAs the No. 1-seed for the A.I.I. Championship, the Cougars received a first-round bye and will play the winner of No. 4-seed Ashford and No. 5-seed British Columbia on Thursday evening. It is a double-elimination competition. If the Cougars win their first two games of the tournament, they will play in the championship game on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. PT. If they lose, then their quest for a third conference championship becomes a little more difficult in the loser's bracket.
