Bethesda PreviewAll-time vs. Bethesda: 4-1
Last Meeting: W, 3-2 (March 11, 2014). Former CSUSM RHP
Kevin Hilton tossed a complete game and the then-No. 16 Cougars collected a walk-off win on a Bethesda error.
Bethesda Breakdown: The Flames have dropped five of their last seven games including a 10-5 loss at Vanguard on March 4. Senior pitcher Esau Madrigal is a rare phenomenon for he pitches both left handed and right handed.
NotesThe Cougars are ranked No. 3 in the nation with 48 doubles and
Denny Vigo ranks No. 2 with team-best 10 doubles … Vigo is on a 18-game streak of reaching base safely, passing
Stefan Miladinovich's 16-streak that came to a halt this past weekend …
Jon Putnam's homer against Point Loma was his first collegiate home run and raises CSUSM's season total to seven …
Brandon Bentson and Miladinovich each have had nine multi-hit games.
