CSUSM-APUCSUSM returned to action after nearly two weeks off on Monday against Azusa Pacific. The Cougars split with the Cougars, 5-13 (6 inn.) and 7-2. It was the most runs the Cougars have given up this season in game one. In game two,
Robyn Alvara went 3-for-3 with three RBI.

Ashley Dagenais pitched complete games as the Cougars took down then-No. 21 Simpson.
Kaitlin McGinley was 3-for-4 and Taylor Ybarra was 2-for-3 with two RBI in game one. The Cougars scored three runs in the sixth inning to come from 2-0 down and beat the Red Hawks.
Biola Preview
All-time vs. Biola: 19-11 (.633)
Last meeting: W, 1-0; L, 1-4 (Mar. 5, 2015); Alvara's two-out RBI single in the bottom of the fifth was the only run in CSUSM's 1-0 victory in game one over the Eagles.
Ashley Dagenais delivered a four-hit complete game shutout. In game two, the Cougars left seven runners on base and could not take advantage of a couple solid opportunities later on.
Who We AreCSUSM is an NAIA Division I institution which competes in the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conference. CSUSM was accepted into NCAA Division II Candidacy Year One and the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) during the summer and is currently going through a three-year transition phase in order to gain full NCAA DII status for the 2017-18 season. The 2014-15 season will be the school's final year competing in the NAIA.
