Cassie Damyanovich scored a season-high 28 points and tied her own school record of six buckets from beyond the arc. Senior
Heather Thompson tallied her fourth double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Junior
Brianna Higgins added 11 points.
PLNU Breakdown: The Sea Lions have already clinched a playoff berth in the PacWest Championship with a 13-5 conference record. They have won 12 of their last 15 games including a 73-55 victory over BYU-Hawaii last Saturday. Jessica Escorza is leading PLNU with 15.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.

One More Home Games After WednesdayAlthough it was Senior Night on Saturday, Jan 31, it was not the last time the Cougars will be playing at MiraCosta College this season. CSUSM closes its home schedule with a showdown against San Diego Christian on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
Who We AreCSUSM is an NAIA Division I institution which competes in the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conference. CSUSM was accepted into NCAA Division II Candidacy Year One and the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) during the summer and is currently going through a three-year transition phase in order to gain full NCAA DII status for the 2017-18 season. The 2014-15 season will be the school's final year in the NAIA.
