La Sierra Breakdown: The Lions have had a rough start in 2015, winning just one of six games. Most recently, La Sierra dropped a 63-45 decision to Cal State Maritime on Jan. 24. Fantroy is averaging a team-best 17.6 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.

Two More Home Games After SaturdayAlthough it is Senior Night on Saturday, it is not the last time the Cougars will be playing at MiraCosta College this season. CSUSM hosts Point Loma on Wednesday, Feb. 8 at and San Diego Christian on Wednesday, Feb. 25.
Who We AreCSUSM is an NAIA Division I institution which competes in the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conference. CSUSM was accepted into NCAA Division II Candidacy Year One and the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) during the summer and is currently going through a three-year transition phase in order to gain full NCAA DII status for the 2017-18 season. The 2014-15 season will be the school's final year in the NAIA.
