Senior Night
Prior to Saturday night's game, Sherika Miller will be honored for her years of service to the women's basketball program in a special Senior Night ceremony. Miller is the lone senior on this year's squad. Since coming to San Marcos as a junior transfer student, Miller has led the team in scoring in each of her two years on campus, averaging 11.6 points and 4.8 rebounds for her career. She'll graduate on CSUSM's all-time career top 10 in points, scoring average, field goals made, field goal percentage, 3-pointers, 3-point field goal percentage, free throws made, total rebounds and assists.

Concordia Preview
The Cougars and Eagles met earlier this season on Jan. 23 in Oceanside. CSUSM trailed by as many as 17 points in the second half, but was able to pull within three with 3:48 left. However, the Cougars came up empty on a couple of late possessions and the Eagles iced the game at the line. Heather Thompson led the Cougars with game-highs of 21 points and 16 rebounds. CUI has dropped six of its last seven since facing CSUSM.

UC Santa Cruz Preview
The Banana Slugs have won 10 straight games since Dec. 28. The last time out, UCSC survived 69-68 over Cal Lutheran, thanks to a couple of late free throw misses by CLU. CSUSM is 1-0 all-time against UCSC after taking down the Slugs in last season's regular-season finale, 61-40. Miller led the Cougars with 17 points on 7-of-14 shooting in that contest.

What's Next?
After the conclusion of the regular season, the Cougars will travel to Marietta, Ga. for the Association of Independent Institutions (A.I.I.) Conference Tournament, Mar. 7-9. The Cougars will need to win the six-team tournament in order to receive an automatic berth to the NAIA Tournament. CSUSM won the A.I.I. Division II Tournament in 2012 and fell in the Division I semifinals in 2013.
